Position: Poultry Farm Worker
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 4:00 AM – 4:00 PM (including holidays)
Note: Work schedule may change based on production needs.

- Applicants must reside in the United States to qualify for an interview.

- Previous experience in agriculture or production is preferred.
Compensation: $17.50 per hour, with additional shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Position Summary:
As a Poultry Farm Worker, you will perform general labor tasks related to the selection, vaccination, and movement of Cobb products at our contract farms. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform selection, vaccination, blood pulls, movement, and clean-out of all Cobb products/facilities (35%).
- Load Cobb products into modules and onto trucks for transport to designated processing plants (35%).
- Clean and disinfect Cobb poultry houses, vehicles, modules, and equipment (20%).
- Participate in research trials as needed, including weighing meat, handling knives, reading scales, spraying insecticides, and collecting health inspection samples (10%).
Biosecurity/Animal Welfare/Safety Requirements:
This position operates within a biosecure environment. Candidates must shower and change clothing and footwear before entering the facility. The company provides appropriate clothing and footwear. Jewelry is not permitted on-site except for medical ID jewelry; body piercings must be covered by clothing. Candidates must agree to avoid contact with avian species (chickens, ducks, birds) and adhere to Company Biosecurity and Animal Welfare Guidelines.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Candidates must meet the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Physical Requirements:
- Safe lifting techniques are essential.
- Regularly lift/move up to 30 pounds; occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds.
- Stand or walk for most of the shift on concrete floors; sit; use hands for handling objects; reach with arms; balance; climb ladders; talk or hear; drive within the farm complex.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Work Environment:
- Work on wet or slippery surfaces in hot, dry, dusty, icy, snowy, or cold conditions.
Personal Protective Equipment Required:
- Safety goggles, face shields, chemical gloves, waterproof aprons, rubber boots.
- Ear plugs as needed.
- NIOSH-approved N95 respirators when necessary.
Safety Expectations:
Team members must follow all safety policies and procedures related to Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Team members are expected to identify and mitigate safety risks.
